Rights given to Women by Islam
The rights given to women by Islam in the 7th century were unparalleled anywhere else in the world at that time. The rights were earth shaking. Many of those rights were not given to women in western countries until the 20th century, 1,400 years later.
Thankfulness and Patience
The Prophet (Peace and Blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said: “How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for his affairs are all good, and this applies to no one but the believer. If something good happens to him,he is thankful for it and that is good for him. If something bad happens to him, he bears it with patience and that is good for him.” (Narrated by Muslim, 2999).
Good Deeds
"Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - I will surely cause him to live a good life, and I will surely give them their reward [in the
Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do." [16:97]
Say Alhamdulillah for Everything
If you find it hard to appreciate what Allah has blessed you with, spend a day with someone who doesn't have the things you have. The Prophet (peace and Blessings of ALLAH be Upon him) said, "Look to those below you and not to those above, as it is more suitable to remember the blessings of Allah granted to you." (Bukhari & Muslim)
Question: How can I stop thinking about women? I try too fast but don’t have enough money to get married and I try to lower my gaze but it’s so difficult. Please advise. Answered by Shaykh Omar Suleiman
Question:
How can I stop thinking about women? I try too fast but don’t have enough money to get married and I try to lower my gaze but it’s so difficult. Please advise.
Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh .Thank you for your question.
Allah says in the Quran:
"Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things)..." [Surat al-Nur: 30] Al-Junayd (rahimahullah) was asked: "With what do we seek help to lower our gaze?" He replied: "Your knowledge that Him looking upon you precedes whatever you look at." In regard to these verses Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)
says: "So He (Allah) put purity after lowering of the gaze and protecting of the private parts. For this reason lowering the gaze away from the prohibited things
warrants three great benefits. The first of them is the sweetness of Imaan and the pleasure that comes from it, which is more sweet and pleasing than that which he
diverted his eyes away from for Allah's sake. Verily, whoever abandons a thing for Allah's sake, He (Subhaanahu WaTa'ala) compensates him with better than it…The second benefit is a light in the heart and
quality of intuition… and the third benefit is the strength of the heart and steadfastness and courage. So Allah (Subhaanahu WaTa'ala) would give him, by His strength,
the ability of wisdom and substantiation, and the devil would flee from him as it has been mentioned in the saying, "Whoever fears his whims, the devil would race
out of his shadow." So part of the answer dear brother is recognizing that Allah is watching you and that by looking at that which He has forbidden, you risk losing the opportunity to see Him on the Day of Judgment. As far as practical tips are concerned:
1. Install a firewall on your computer/laptop that filters lewd material
2. Enroll in a program online to help you deal with pornography. Purify your gaze is one that I would Recommend.
3. Try not to put yourself in a situation that will make it harder for you. So avoid places that will cause your gaze to wander and also being alone with your computer/laptop/TV.
4. Fasting controls ones desires and builds that consciousness in Allah needed to fight this disease.
5. Remind yourself frequently of the reward of paradise for lowering your gaze.
May Allah make it easy for you and grant you strength and firmness. Ameen
And Allah knows best.

SPOUSES
It is indeed Allah's mercy upon mankind that He created spouses for human beings and that too from their own kind. Imagine the world with humans living without a spouse. Or imagine if a spouse was not from same kind i.e. suppose a human had a spouse from community of Jinn's etc. It would have been very difficult to achieve compatibility. Alhamdulillah, the mercy of The Almighty is vast. He has blessed the mankind with this beautiful relation of husband-wife.

Sneezing And Yawning
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
Allah likes sneezing and He dislikes yawning. If one of you sneezes and praises Allah, it is the duty of every Muslim who hears him to say to him:
Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have mercy on you)
As for yawning, it is from the Shaitan, so if one of you (feels the urge to) yawn, let him suppress it as much as he can, for when one of you yawns, the
Shaitan laughs at him. (Narrated by Al- Bukhari)
Ibn Hajar, may Allah have Mercy on him, said that Al-Khattabi said, What is meant by liking and disliking
here refers to the causes because sneezing is due to energy in the body, opening the pores and not eating too much, unlike yawning which is due to filling the body and making it heavy which stems from eating too much and mixing different types of food. The
former gives one energy for worship and the latter is the opposite. The Prophet ( peace and blessings of
Allah be upon him) , explained how to respond to one who sneezes, in the Hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, from the Prophet, (peace and blessings of Allahbe upon him) in which he said:
If one of you sneezes, let him say Alhamdu Lillah ( praise be to Allah), and let his brother or companion say to him, Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have mercy on you). If he says Yarhamuk-Allah (may Allah have
mercy on you) to him, let him say Yahdeekum Allahu wa yuslihu baalakum (may Allah guide you and
set your affairs straight).” (Al-Bukhari)
Nowadays doctors say that yawning is an indication that the brain and body need oxygen and food , and that the respiratory system has fallen short in supplying the oxygen needed by the brain and body. This happens when one is drowsy or unconscious and just before death. Yawning is a deep inhalation through the mouth, but the mouth is not the natural route for inhalation, because it is not equipped to purify the air as the nose is. If the mouth remains open while yawning, various kinds of germs, dust,
pollution and insects may enter with the inhaled breath and reach different parts of the body. Hence the Prophet,(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), taught us to suppress yawning as
much as possible or to cover the mouth with the palm of the right hand or back of the left hand. Sneezing is the opposite of yawning, as it is powerful and sudden, and expels air forcefully from the lungs via
the nose and mouth,so it blows out whatever is in its way of dust, pollution, insects and germs that harps penetrated to the respiratory system. Hence, it is natural that sneezing should be from Allah because
of the benefits it brings to the body and that yawning should be from Satan because it is harmful to the body. Therefore it is many’s duty to praise Allah, the Exalted , for sneezing and seek refuge with Him from the accursed Satan when yawning.

Men are the Protectors of Women
A woman is just like a pearl and a man is just
like a shell. A shell has no value without a
pearl, and a pearl does not exist without a shell.
Woman (wife) is a honour for a man (husband),
and a man (husband) has responsibility to his
woman (wife) to be a leader to reach jannat.
Friends, respect your spouse.
"O people! be careful of (your duty to) your
LORD, Who created you from a single being and
created its mate of the same (kind) and spread
from these two, many men and women; and be
careful of (your duty to) ALLAH by Whom you
demand one of another (your rights), and (to)
the ties of relationship, surely ALLAH ever
watches over you" Quraan An Nisaa [4:1]

Reported by Ibn Umar (RA): The Prophet
